I decided to stay at Ao Nang rather than town to begin trip to Krabi Thailand.Beside price factor is cheaper, its more to nature surrounding and can get to know local better. Ao Nang its not far from town. Around 15-20 minutes only.

At Krabi, there are a lot of activity you can do here. The popular and common people do is Island Hopping, Visit Emerald Pool and so on. So am i.

Four Island Hopping

Take a Long Tail Boat to do Four Island Hopping because its cheaper and can fit a lot of group people. What i remember we visit Poda Island and Chicken Island only. Cant recall another two island. The package is quite cheap include buffet lunch packed. Don’t expect like your normal buffet since its pre-packed from land and bring along with the boat. But if you want to snorkeling, you need to rent with different price on the boat. For me, its better for swimming and visiting instead of snorkeling.

The Famous Emerald Pool

There are two main pool here. Green Pool and Blue Pool. While Green Pool are open to swimming, Blue pool are more protected and rural.And its deeper in the jungle.

Green Pool

From bottom or parking area, you need to walk around 800 meter to reach Green Pool. Walking is the only option.In case you come along with kids or baby, please be prepared. There are few Gazebo around this pool. You can enjoy the nature, the waterfall sound and the peace. But this pool quite crowded by the time i reached here.

Blue Pool

From Green Pool, you need another 800 meter walking to reach Blue Pool . If you walking alone, you maybe feeling a bit scared because its less people going up here. And the path is surrounding with tree only. But once you reached, its really worth it to sweat all the way. With crystal clear water and reflection effect, the Blue Pool really have stunning view.

Krabi Town

From our resort, it takes around 20 minutes to reach Krabi Town. You can find a lot of souvenir to bring back home here, along the shops next to beach. Its more happening at night. Lots of people, lots of shop and lots activity . Finding halal food its not difficult, since a lot of Muslim here. Even finding the mosque.

Don’t forget to try tomyam here.Its symbol of Thailand. And not forget their street food. It’s superb and memorable. This time trip to Krabi at Thailand really exciting.
