Snorkeling activities at Maafushi Island
We did early checkout and left our luggage at hotel reception before we going to snorkeling. Reason is once we came back its already late to check out and we need to checkin at different hotel. We combine with few people from different hotel and our speedboat around 8 people only. This is half day trip for snorkeling activities around Maafushi Island.Since we have toddler come along with us.
Our first stop is snorkeling with fish and of course coral. Lots of coral. Coral everywhere.Our guide is snorkeling with us too and guide us along the journey. This is first time i experience guide snorkeling together and take care their passenger or guest. While the captain is waiting in the boat and follow us together too. Beside the guide will help us to capture the moment. They using GoPro and its included with the fare while we can get soft copy later.

I think around 20 minute spend here and we move to next point. To find turtle. In open sea. We are lucky enough once we arrived, another group tell they spotted one turtle. And the guide go to check , its very true. So everyone quickly jump into the water and swimming into that turtle. And the turtle is resting bottom below with the coral. Once turtle come to surface to take breathe, so everyone start approaching and chasing while we have been warned to not touch any turtle body.So everyone just try swimming side by side and watching turtle closely.

Once that turtle is gone and disappeared, we keep searching other turtle and swim along the reef. So tiring. Unfortunately we cant find anymore except only that first one. But still ok and its a wonderful and worth experience.
After that, we are straight to dolphin area where its known as dolphin playing area.As we arrive we can see few boats also do watching the dolphin with group ,swimming and dancing. Everyone getting excited and happy. and start going and sit outside the boat. They also few groups of people swimming that area and try to chasing the dolphin. Not sure they able getting near or not.But we only watching from the boat and the captain keep chasing dolphin with the boat too.

After everyone enough watching and satisfied, we are going to sandbank to have lunch. The sand here so clearly white and smooth. The water is cannot describe. Need to come and believe with own eyes.
The sand bank definitely as the name. No big tree. Only sand and small tree. We install umbrella and having lunch under it. Some lunch inside the boat. hahaha. Yay its very hot. Im not joking. The lunch is coming together with the boat. Basically packed food with fruit and drink. But its enough for everyone yet still have lot of balance.

After finish we straightly going back to Maafushi Island . The journey taken around 30 minutes. Thats the wrap up for our half day trip snorkeling activities at Maafushi Island. After arrive at jetty, we straight to the hotel and grab our luggage. The Kuredhi Beach Inn Hotel help to bring our luggage to next hotel which around less than 50 steps away. Hahah. The reason we change hotel because want to experience sea view in the Maldives. Our next hotel is Arena Grand Beach.

After checkin, we take a rest. Everyone is tired. At evening we going to beach in front hotel and take some quick swimming and bath.While watching the sunset

On the night, our buffet dinner is at the hotel and its include with the room fare. If walk in, or non-guest, they charge USD12 per person. Restaurant only in front of hotel , open, can hear wave and wind.The menu is not bad but drink is separately and need to pay. After dinner take a quick walk around and come back to hotel and sleep like a …..
