1. Its better to have drawing project so when buying the tools needed we know how much we need and it useful when we start cutting it. We can modify later when we start cutting and assemble it

2. Prepare all the tools needed. Pipe, glue, connector, saw

3. Start cutting based on drawing, or ask hardware to cut it for you
4. Try to put all tools together to have picture of it

5. Try to make early fitting by assemble it first without glue. Its important because once its glue we cannot dissemble back unless cut it
6. Assemble and glue it
7. Let it dry for few hours
8. Testing new portable outdoor shower and have fun

This simple DIY aircond care cleaning maintenance is to maintain our unit to make sure it always on top performance before we do regular cleaning service, we can do by ourselves for this kind of easy job. I always do it regularly 2-3 months time before i call air condition technician for yearly maintenance which will disassemble blower fan and cleaning it properly. So our air condition unit always dust free , under good care and serve freshness.

To do it, only few step require. Only require clothes and air condition cleaner spray which you can buy in your local or hardware store. In my case i bought at Mr. DIY store. The price is less than RM20 last time i bought few years back. Yes one bottle can last long to do this aircond care cleaning maintenance multiple times.

1. Open air condition unit cover

2. Check the filter either need to wash or not

4. Wash the filter

5. Spray air condition coil with air condition cleaner. Wait around 5 minutes . Instruction to use the spray usually at the back of the spray bottle. Just shake it well and spray.

6. Install back filter into air condition unit
   

   install back filter after 4-5 minutes spray. Make sure the filter is dry enough

7. Turn on air condition unit back and run it at least 15 minutes to make sure all dirt will washed away together with spray foam
8. Thats it. So simple

That is the simple air condition maintenance care you can do by yourself. Your unit will stay for last longer and will reduce pipe blocking. If you using inverter  type air conditioner with ionize function, please make sure remove the ionizer filter first because as per told by technician, if the filter is wet, the ionizer  will not function anymore.

Here are the easy and Do-It-Yourself tips we can do to repair this leakage. Yes, there are post about another DIY project before too. But this is not permanent solution which may be leakage will coming out again within 2-3 years.

Using waterproof coating, we can apply it to surface and let it dry. There are few waterproofing brand outside, from small, medium to large depends on your need. As i only need a bit, so i buy the smallest i can find.

There are few simple step to make sure coating apply can last long and working efficiently.

1. Make sure surface are CLEAN from any dust or particle. Its to make sure when we apply, it can absorb directly to concrete/slab surface.
2. Apply it by layer.  Applying 2-3 times is better than single apply. To apply it, we can use paint brush or roller which one is you prefer. For me, i like to use roller to get even surface and faster job

3. Now its done. Lets monitor again when raining is coming, If necessary need to apply again. We hope this kind of job can help to repair leaking or crack slab ,wall or concrete. And of course to save money. But if still happened after 3-4 times doing the same thing, i suggest better appoint a professional to look the issue which we may overlook or don’t know where its the rain is coming through.

From my personal view, thing vacuum is suitable for light use and for home only and not suitable for commercial use. But its depends because the working time is very short and need to recharge once the battery out.

First time unboxing it, im quite surprise because of the size is bigger than previous one KK8. And since it direct order from China, so i need adapter to suit the plug, but its not the problem as seller provide the suitable adapter. To review it, its a lot of amazing thing

This robot can do job for 2 hour max, before running out of battery. If the job still incomplete, robot will back to dock to charging first and continue unfinish job after fully charged, and it can remember where the last job.

This robot a bit noisy compare to KK8, maybe the size and suction motor is bigger and powerful, but the cleanliness is far better than KK8. Even the trash compartment is bigger, everything is bigger.

This robot come with voice, Chinese voice as default. So you need to download the app called Mi Home, and change the language. From the app itself, a lot you can set and do like schedule cleaning, view cleaning history, battery percentage, live cleaning tracking and so on. The sensor on top of body will scan area while cleaning and creating map for cleaning purpose. The way it clean is manageable as you can see on map. How long it take time to clean and area cleaning can be view via app.

One more feature i like is, i can ask this robot to do cleaning even i’m far away from home. Because this robot can connect to wifi, i just need to press cleaning button and then my robot will do the job at home. Internet of thing (IoT) feature and start to applied to appliance. Smart home era.

Beside of these extra feature, it also come with basic features like obstacle detecting and anti-fall sensor to prevent robot falling from upstair. If still not confidence, can buy accessories called virtual wall tape.

      • Make sure your box connect to wifi. To check it , go to setting > wireless > tick enable WLAN
   2. How to access Iflix application
      • Go to my application > Iflix,  or
      • Press i button if you already access hypptv/ unifitv. Keep press OK and follow guide. Your Iflix app will do necessary setup. Wait until setup finish
   3. How to check Iflix account status in term expiry or anything related
      • You can check Iflix account status in Iflix app. Go to account status. Your account expiration is there.

I use paint scrapper to remove all the rubber wheel. This the only tool i need.

The process to remove this rubber wheel from KK8 vacuum require around 15 minutes. After all are removed, doing some test run, and the great thing it still can walk ,i mean rolling. But its bit slippery and can notice it cant rolling over carpet anymore. Just on floor. But its ok for me as long as it can help me with the sweeping work.

Update. Over time the battery has worn and only can work in less time when full charged. After taking consideration, i purchased new vacuum robot to help me for household work

1. If you buy sub-sale property, the house might need re paint. its the easiest job . Just buy paint, ladder, brush, glove and here you go. you will save a lot in term of painting labor. Unless you cant reach ceiling( in case ceiling too high) or paint external for 2nd storey house and more. Just hire painter to do the job you cant do. And to keep you safe for the certain high you cant reach
2. Change tap . Another easy job, just need spanar pipe and pipe tape. Rotate left rotate right and you done. I think everyone can do this unless require some hacking in the wall for more complicated thing
3. Laminate floor using vinyl. If the room just only cement, you can install this type of vinyl floor. A lot of design with variety price at the market now. With sticker or without sticker(need to buy glue separately) .You can save a lot compare to install tiles. You even can do with close eyes. And your floor will look nicer and beautiful. When you boring with the design few years later, just change it. Very easy
4. Clean the house yourself. Swiping , mopping, swiping again, its tiring but worth it. You can called it exercise too
5. Change the bulb. Another easy job. Just need the ladder. And the bulb. You will done in few minutes

But if you have no budget constraint or have a lot of money, just hire people to do all this job.  You can focus on other thing.

If you living in MPSJ area and planning to have house renovation in legal way, here some tip might guide and help you  about MPSJ house renovation procedure  to get approval and permit  so our renovation work didn’t get summon or illegal. Here are some procedure might help you

1. Get the architect/drawer. Easier if from MPSJ architect list. Some architect will charge same rate even your drawing only extend backyard or just ground floor.So better you draw the whole house for future planning, As per I understand, let say first phase you want just renovate kitchen, so later in 2 years, you want to renovate front house, just get back to your architect, they will help you to submit Borang B(if not mistaken in order to you to continue working)
2. Architect will advise step, drawing will include engineering, CCC or not based on your renovation planning
3. Some architect will help to submit to authority until you get the approval. So you just prepare document needed. And money (for drawing, engineering, CCC, MPSJ)
4. Some typical document needed:
   1. IC copy
   2. paid receipt cukai tanah(latest)
   3. SNP
   4. original SNP (include elevation section and site plan) if you buying subsale
   5. original CF.(if don’t have just call MPSJ they will check if your house have CF before or not, and pay Rm100 to get copy(if you have).
   6. More document will be advice by your architect
5. Wait until they complete their job, based on architect, some take week some take 1-2 month until got approve. So you might need to follow up frequently.
6. Good thing now MPSJ no need to get neighbor signature anymore for approval (as per 2017 and this post written).
7. Once you get the approval and permit, you can start your work without worry authority come and summon you

This park have few gazebo at  the top and along the way, running and walking trail, foot therapy path, and  also few exercise tool install. If you want to have light exercise or training, or just to having sightseeing around from the top, this the place. Keep your health and fitness. Even your kid will enjoy it. Just to be careful because its can consider steep hill.

From above, we can see all taman surrounding here, even the MEX highway  and Kuala Lumpur can see from far. Its peaceful and quiet here, unlike other recreation park, here are less visitor, maybe there less attraction here unlike nearest taman like Taman Bukit Jalil which have lots visitor and attraction, even sometimes they held event there. But of cos there are pro and cons. Depends on your purpose. If you haven’t come here, i suggest you come and visit once.

From bottom to top require some stamina, trust me you still felt exhaust even just slow hiking, because a lot of stairs. But once reach top, you can have deep breath and enjoy the scene surrounding.
